My outlook on life is to "work your passion and live your dream." Because of this I work in two different roles, one as the Director of Marketing and Communications for the Global Talent Retention Initiative of Michigan, and also as the CEO of my digital marketing agency, UZoom Media.
I love my position as the Marketing and Communications Director of GTRI of Michigan because I get to tell the story of immigration as an economic driver. I have always loved planting seeds, nurturing them, and watching them grow, whether in my garden or in a business. As an Inbound Marketing Consultant, Strategist, Speaker and Trainer, I help businesses define their business and marketing goals and implement online strategies to reach those goals. Through UZoom Media I assist them in duplicating their company culture online through their websites and Social Media. I provide strategy, implementation, monitoring, and reputation management services in this arena as well. I currently serve on two non-profit boards. The first is the Advisory Board of ePIFanynow.org, a non-profit organization dedicated to Passing it Forward through events and education. The second is Haven House, (www.HavenHouseEL.org), a homeless shelter and resource center in East Lansing.
